True OG

True OG Kush by Soma Sacred Seeds is a classic OG Kush genetic with roots in Southern California. Soma has been working with this special selection for many years, preserving the original character of one of the best-known American cannabis lines. With 80% Indica and 20% Sativa, True OG Kush is clearly Indica-dominant and belongs to the characteristic Soma Seeds genetics.

When cultivated, True OG Kush is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. The flowering time is approximately 9–10 weeks. Outdoors, it prefers a rather dry and warm climate. Due to its compact and dense growth, good air circulation should be ensured, especially at higher humidity levels, to avoid unfavourable conditions for mould.

True OG Kush is characterised by its dense and strong individuals, and it is precisely the pronounced production that makes this genetic extremely interesting for lovers of extractions and hashish. The plants thus combine the typical structure of a vigorous Kush genetic with the characteristics for which classic OG lines have been appreciated for many years. In terms of aroma, True OG Kush also remains true to its Californian roots. Powerful earthy and spicy Kush notes shape the flavour profile and give the strain its unmistakable old-school OG character.

• Soma Seeds: a lifetime in breeding

Soma Seeds, also called Soma’s Sacred Seeds, goes back to the early seventies. The guy behind it, Soma, was not always in cannabis. He once worked at IBM. Later he ran a vegetarian restaurant and even a bakery. Growing plants came later, but he always lived in a way that leaned natural and organic. That carried over into how he breeds seeds too. It is just how he works.
