GrowLog Terms of Use

1. Service and operator

GrowLog is an online application for keeping cultivation journals and storing or publishing text, photographs, video and comments.

The Service is currently free.

2. Account

An account requires a username, email address and password. Users may change their username and email address where the relevant feature is available. Passwords may be reset by email.

3. Children and age

GrowLog does not impose a general requirement that users be 18 or older. Where applicable law requires parental or guardian consent, it must be obtained. GrowLog will apply appropriate privacy and safety measures required by applicable UK rules for services likely to be accessed by children.

4. Visibility

Users choose whether a journal is private or public. Public journals may be viewed without signing in and may be indexed by Google, Bing and other search engines. Photographs, videos and comments inherit the journal's visibility.

5. User content

You retain ownership of your content. You grant GrowLog only the limited, non-exclusive rights necessary to store, technically process, back up and display your content in order to provide the Service. GrowLog does not acquire ownership, sell user content or use it to train AI models.

6. Prohibited use

Unlawful content, sales, marketplaces, trading cannabis or other products, and instructions intended to facilitate unlawful activity are prohibited.

7. Moderation and reports

GrowLog does not generally pre-screen all content. Potentially unlawful content may be reported to contact@growlog.app GrowLog may remove or restrict content or accounts where reasonably necessary because of law, these Terms or security.

8. Permanent suspension

An account may be permanently suspended. The administrator determines the reason. A user may appeal by contacting contact@growlog.app Suspension does not automatically delete content. A new account using another email address may be created where doing so does not breach applicable law or these Terms.

9. Deletion

Users may delete their content and account at any time. Associated content will be deleted subject to legal retention, security, disputes or backup processes.

10. Analytics

GrowLog uses Google Analytics 4 and Lovable Project Analytics. Non-essential analytics technologies requiring consent will only be activated after the required consent is obtained.

11. Availability and information

The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons. GrowLog is a journal service and does not provide legal, medical or professional cultivation advice.

12. Future paid features and advertising

GrowLog may introduce paid features or advertising in the future. Applicable terms will be presented before purchase.

13. Complaints and changes

Complaints and requests may be sent to contact@growlog.app These Terms may be updated because of changes to the Service, applicable law or security requirements.
