Import from GrowDiaries

Your GrowDiaries diary. Your next chapter on GrowLog.

Bring your growing history with you. Move a finished or ongoing diary to GrowLog — without starting from scratch.

Free to use · Private by default · Your content stays yours

Bring more than just your photos

Settings & plants

Your setup and the plants behind your grow.

Weekly updates

Notes and supported measurements, kept together in your timeline.

Harvests

Harvest details and recorded wet and dry weights.

Photos

Photos copied to GrowLog, not just linked to the original diary.

Your grow. Your data.

You retain ownership of your notes and photos. GrowLog does not sell your content or use it to train AI models.

Private until you choose otherwise

Every imported growlog starts private. Review it first, then decide whether to share it with the community.

Keep a copy of your records

Download your growlog as JSON, with settings, plants, events and media references. Photo and video files are not included in the export.

Before you import

Can I import an ongoing diary?

Yes. Finished and ongoing diaries are supported. This is a one-time copy, not a live sync with GrowDiaries.

Does everything transfer?

Supported settings, weekly notes, measurements, harvest details and up to 200 photos can transfer. Videos are skipped. Some photos or unsupported values may not import, and dates may be estimated from week numbers. Review the result before publishing.

Can I import someone else’s diary?

No. You must confirm that it is your own diary and that you have full rights to the content you are importing.

Will my original diary change?

No. Importing creates a separate copy on GrowLog. It does not edit or delete your GrowDiaries diary.

Keep your history. Start your next chapter.

Your first growlog does not have to start at day one.
