Taste & aroma
The Bishop strain is a cross between Teflon (Pinnacle × Caribbean Cookies) and Street Guru – it combines complex flavours, strong production and extremely potent and very intense aromas. Purple City Genetics combines modern US genetics to create a balanced hybrid with great results and easy cultivation.
Bishop is a mostly Indica that grows very compactly and branches beautifully, making it ideal for SCROG or main-lining. It forms dense individuals that are perfect for extractions – thanks to its robustness, it is also highly recommended for beginners. The terpene profile is distinctive: rubber, gas and cookie dough.
- Lineage: Teflon x Street Guru

- Flowering: 9 weeks
- Smell: rubber, gas, cookie dough

Purple City Genetics – Oakland, California
Purple City Genetics, or PCG for short, has been around since 2008. They are based in Oakland and started out as a cannabis collective. Over the years, as the cannabis scene in the States kept shifting, they adjusted too. These days, they breed for everyone from home growers to large-scale farms, but they still keep their quality standards high. They have picked up plenty of awards along the way at different events and cups. Their strains are easy enough for beginners setups to work with, but experienced growers will get a lot out of them too.

PCG’s catalogue is not just about yield – though they do that well – it is about flavour and potency too. They put out some pretty wild crosses, and their terpene profiles are always something to talk about. Sometimes they release small batch strains that disappear fast, so it is worth keeping an eye out.
