Blue Sherb × Runtz

Azulcar is a modern interpretation of Blue Sherb, updated with a more pronounced candy gas profile and a genetic „tilt” towards Runtz. It is a strain designed for today's market expectations – a potent aroma, a distinct structure and a visual effect that needs no filter.

The terpene profile rests on a sweet, candy-like Sherb with a distinct, gassy depth. The aroma stays intense even after grinding, and the characteristic sweetness holds long in the experience. These are typically „flower-first” genetics – geared towards the quality and expression of the flowers.

The plant reaches a medium height with a moderate stretch, grows straight and is easy to manage. It forms tight, massive tops with a slightly foxtailed, Sherb-style structure. The colouring is strong blue-purple shades, which towards the end of flowering can move into almost black colours – on the calyxes as much as on the sugar leaves. The resin tends towards a sandy structure and crumbles easily.

This is the second instalment of Azulcar from Nine Weeks Harves t. The first batch sold out fast and became the basis for keeper selection in many grow rooms. The breeder decided to repeat exactly the same, original line – with the same, refined mothers – in order to make proven breeding material available again. Azulcar was also used as a pollen donor, and its hybrids found their way to some of the most recognisable growers in the world.
