Baikal ExpressP

Baikal Express by Kalashnikov Seeds is an exceptionally fast mostly Sativa created by crossing Kubanskiy Ubiyza with Baikal Sativa E Secret Hybrid. The “Express” name fits the concept well, combining distinctly Sativa-oriented genetics with comparatively rapid development. The strain is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation and offers an interesting alternative for growers who prefer Sativa genetics without an unnecessarily complicated growing profile.

Aromatically, Baikal Express is clearly defined by its fresh citrus character. Intense Lemon Haze notes are accompanied by pronounced sweetness, giving the profile a noticeably sweeter character than many traditional Haze-oriented varieties. Lemon, sweet and almost sugar-like nuances come together to create a distinctive aromatic combination.

Another notable characteristic of Baikal Express is its comparatively straightforward cultivation. Despite its mostly Sativa background, the strain is considered easy to handle and is therefore also suitable for beginners. Its reported resistance to common plant diseases and mould can be particularly useful in outdoor cultivation and in environments where changing conditions can present additional challenges.

Growers looking among the Kalashnikov Seeds range for a fast mostly Sativa with a pronounced citrus aroma will find Baikal Express an interesting combination of Kubanskiy Ubiyza and Baikal Sativa E Secret Hybrid. Its Lemon Haze-inspired aroma, additional sweetness, straightforward cultivation and robust characteristics define the distinctive profile of this genetic.

• Kalashnikov Seeds: Russian Crosses with Local and Global Lineages

Kalashnikov Seeds operates out of Russia, near Saint Petersburg, and has been developing feminized cannabis strains since 2002. Much of their early work involved combining AK-47 clones with genetics gathered from regions such as Spain, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Eastern Europe. These crosses have led to hybrids that perform well under a range of growing conditions, especially for those in harsher outdoor environments.
