Gorilla Glue #4 and Stardawg are genetic cousins, both descended from Chemdog through different routes, so this reunites two branches of the same family. Over half the composition traces to Chemdog cuts. One side glues your scissors shut and the other side fills a room.

The Cross

Tomahawk is an F1 merging two branches of the Chem family tree. Composition runs roughly 56% Chem, 19% Sour Diesel, 13% Chocolate Trip, and the balance in Bubblegum and Afghani.

The Parents

Gorilla Glue #4 reads like a cautionary tale that turned into a creation myth. Around 2011 Josey Whales was running a stadium grow in Nevada, rows of one gallon pots holding Chocolate Diesel, Sour Dubb and Chem’s Sister alongside some Chem Sis crossed to Sour Dubb hybrids bred by his partner Lone Watty. A police scare forced him to break down roughly eighty plants and move the whole garden to a friend’s house, and the stress of two moves in a matter of days made those hybrids throw pollen sacs that dusted the room, including the Chocolate Diesel.

Josey was ready to bin the run. His friend Mardogg saved the seeds instead. A year later three females came out: GG1, GG2 which was eventually lost, and GG4. The scissors seized shut on the #4, somebody said it was like gorilla glue, and the name stuck. Josey then gave the clone away free through ICMag, in the spirit of the growers who had shared elite genetics with him.

Stardawg is Chem 4 crossed to Tres Dawg, bred by JJ at Top Dawg Seeds, with this particular male selected by Gu for the Greenpoint program.

What’s In The Pack

Ten regular photoperiod seeds, males included. Because the parents are cousins rather than strangers, the pack runs more consistent than the parent list suggests.

In The Garden

70-80 days. Medium to tall with heavy lateral branching and dense colas. Moderate difficulty with one critical variable, which is humidity. The resin load and the bud density together make the last three weeks unforgiving of a damp room.
