Animal Cookies: Know Which Story You’re Buying

Greenpoint’s position: original Animal Cookies was Thin Mint GSC renamed. The cut came before the seed-catalog pedigree. This pack is Greenpoint Seeds‘ S1 release from our held Animal Cookies female.

The Name Had a Job

Early Bay Area Cookies moved through a small circle around Jigga and the Cookies Family. In grower fullymelted’s recollection of those days, the original cut carried the Platinum Cookies name before Str8flame passed it to Dru, also known as Seerious415, and the Animal name took hold. A different tag helped establish whose Cookies you were buying.

We back that rename account. The later GSC × Fire OG Bx3 pedigree marketed by BC Bud Depot belongs to its commercial seed line. It does not settle the origin of the original cut. A new name does not prove a new cross.

The foundation is Girl Scout Cookies: F1 Durban × Florida OG in Jigga’s account. Forum Cookies has its own selection history in the same early family.

What Makes This Pack Different

Animal Cookies S1 puts our held female on both sides of the pedigree. You get a selfed seed population with variation to select through. The differences between seedlings are part of the hunt; an S1 label does not promise six copies of the mother.

In The Garden

70-80 days. Medium height, dense flowers. Like most of the Cookies line it runs hungry for calcium and magnesium, and it finishes tight enough that stagnant air is the main risk in the last three weeks. Not the easiest plant in the catalog. It was never supposed to be.
