The population shows noticeable variation in structure. ETHOS states that around 75% of the plants develop tall and vigorously. The shorter, leafier phenotypes are usually more heavily branched to the sides.

The taller plants may start forming clear flowers a little later, but the breeder notes that they fill in well in the later part of flowering.

Phenotypes with a higher flower-to-leaf ratio show a fairly long stretch. Plants with a dominant vertical apex stretch especially hard.
