So Purple

So Purple by Soma Seeds is an exceptionally colourful cross of So G Kush and Purple Haze. This feminized strain consists of 80% Indica and 20% Sativa and thus combines the powerful Kush character of So G Kush with the unmistakable characteristics of a classic Purple Haze genetic.

So Purple is particularly striking because of its appearance. Depending on the phenotype, the plants can develop intense colours ranging from pink and vibrant green to deep purple. At the same time, the strain produces very resinous flowers and proves comparatively uncomplicated to cultivate. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation and requires approximately 7–9 weeks of flowering.

The different phenotypes can also make themselves noticeable in the aroma. Fruity berry and blackberry notes meet spicy Haze influences and a delicate vanilla sweetness. While pinkish-red plants can show the fruity side more strongly, spicier nuances often emerge in purple phenotypes. This gives So Purple an unusually complex flavour profile that perfectly matches its exceptional appearance.

• Soma Seeds: a lifetime in breeding

Soma Seeds, also called Soma’s Sacred Seeds, goes back to the early seventies. The guy behind it, Soma, was not always in cannabis. He once worked at IBM. Later he ran a vegetarian restaurant and even a bakery. Growing plants came later, but he always lived in a way that leaned natural and organic. That carried over into how he breeds seeds too. It is just how he works.
