Lavender OG

Lavender OG combines one of the best-known genetics from Soma's breeding work with the classic character of an OG Kush. For this mostly Indica, the multiple award-winning Lavender was crossed with a True OG Kush cutting selected by Soma. This brings the unmistakable character of the original Lavender together with the powerful influence of a Californian OG genetic.

When cultivated, Lavender OG proves robust and comparatively uncomplicated. The strain is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation and can be handled well even without particularly extensive growing experience. This makes it interesting for both experienced growers and beginners who want to cultivate an exceptional Kush cross from Soma's range.

The aroma clearly demonstrates the special combination of the two parent lines. Intense lavender notes meet the distinctive character of True OG Kush and create a powerful, unusual flavour profile. The floral influence of Lavender remains clearly recognisable, but gains additional depth and a distinctly different character through the OG Kush side. For lovers of the classic Lavender, Lavender OG is therefore an interesting alternative and at the same time an independent evolution of this traditional Soma genetic.

• Soma Seeds: a lifetime in breeding

Soma Seeds, also called Soma’s Sacred Seeds, goes back to the early seventies. The guy behind it, Soma, was not always in cannabis. He once worked at IBM. Later he ran a vegetarian restaurant and even a bakery. Growing plants came later, but he always lived in a way that leaned natural and organic. That carried over into how he breeds seeds too. It is just how he works.
