The selection starts from a Sour D with the full sour, citrus and fuel profile characteristic of the Chemdog lineage, and improves its bud structure to make it more compact and productive than the original version.

Sour Ripper has a sativa structure with long internodes and little foliage, with a more compact and appealing bud than the original Sour Diesel. Its flowering period is 65-70 days indoors, which puts it in the standard range for a sativa of this lineage but with an improved bud expression that justifies the selection work.

Outdoors it is ready for harvest in October and offers a very high yield both indoors and outdoors.
