OGDLUX BX3 is a regular, photoperiod line of OGKB × Triangle Kush × Triangle Kush × Josh D OG. This long-running ETHOS Genetics project was built for the hunt for pronounced OG phenotypes that pair greater vigour and a classic stretch with the quality, aroma and trichome density of OGKB.

A classic OG stretch

Most phenotypes develop taller than the original OGKB clone and show the hard stretching typical of the classic OG lines.

One of the project’s main goals was to preserve the quality of OGKB — above all its intense profile and high trichome density.

A strongly perceptible petrol base combines with a cherry accent and the distinctive, deep funky profile of the classic OG lines.

What makes OGDLUX BX3 stand out?

OGDLUX BX3 is a long-running ETHOS Genetics backcross project in which — as the breeder itself points out — quality mattered more than commercial yield.

The starting point was OGKB. The aim of the project was to carry its most prized traits into a plant with clearly greater vigour, without losing the signature quality, aroma and trichome production.

The result is mostly taller plants with a classic OG stretch. ETHOS notes, however, that a shorter, OGKB-like phenotype still appears in the population, though it too is more vigorous than the original clone.

The project is marked by clear variation in phenotype height. That is exactly why ETHOS repeatedly used the taller plants in the successive stages of selection.

The final element of the project was Josh D OG from Karma Genetics. ETHOS describes it as the last missing piece of its long-running work on this OG line.

Flowering lasts around 60–70 days. The breeder classes the yield potential as Average, while the declared TAC potential is 20–25%.

OGDLUX BX3 was created above all for hunting heavily OG-leaning phenotypes. It is a regular M/F line aimed at anyone interested in selection work and in the character of the classic OG family.
