Charlotte's Angel CBDP

CBD Charlotte’s Angel is a sativa-dominant cannabis strain with a high CBD content, running from 10% to 16%, alongside a very low THC content, always below 1%. This strain was created by Dutch Passion by crossing Dutch Charlotte with Red Angel, with the focus on achieving maximum CBD content at a minimum THC level.

Aroma and flavour

CBD Charlotte’s Angel has an intense, complex terpene profile. Spicy notes dominate, with distinct accents of diesel, citrus and pine. Some phenotypes can also show earthy tones with notes of berries and spices. The aroma becomes especially pronounced when the dried buds are ground and during smoking.

Effects and uses

Because of the low THC content, CBD Charlotte’s Angel does not produce a psychoactive effect. Users describe its action as relaxing and calming, which can be helpful in reducing stress and anxiety. Some also report improved focus and creativity after using it. These properties make this strain prized by medical and recreational users alike, who want to enjoy the flavour and aroma of cannabis without feeling intoxicated.

Cultivation

CBD Charlotte’s Angel is a strong, fast-growing plant that can stretch considerably during the flowering phase. Its structure resembles a Christmas tree, with large fan leaves and strong lateral branches. Moderate feeding is recommended, preferably organic, along with cultivation techniques such as SCROG or SOG to control its growth and optimise yields. Flowering time runs from 9 to 12 weeks and yields can reach 400 to 450 g/m², with experienced growers able to achieve even higher figures.

Awards

This strain has won recognition at international competitions, including 1st place in the CBD category at the Highlife Cannabis Cup in the Netherlands in 2018, 3rd place at Expogrow in Irun in 2019 and 2nd place at the CBD Rich Cup in Spain in the same year.

CBD Charlotte’s Angel is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a strain with a high CBD content that offers relaxing effects without intoxication, and also for growers who want to cultivate plants with a stable chemical profile and high yields.
