Damnesia by Strain Hunters combines two well-known genetics into a distinctly Sativa-influenced cross. The strain was created from A.M.S. and Amnesia Haze, combining the robust side of A.M.S. with the characteristic influence of a classic Haze genetic. The result is a mostly Sativa with a distinctly exotic and fruity character.

When cultivated, Damnesia proves comparatively uncomplicated for a Sativa and develops vigorous plants with the typical influences of its Haze lineage. This also makes it interesting for growers who want to cultivate a Sativa-dominant genetic without having to choose a particularly demanding strain.

The fruity aroma of Damnesia is particularly characteristic. Tropical fruits and sweet, exotic notes are clearly at the forefront and combine with the classic Haze character of its Amnesia lineage. This creates a complex flavour profile that is particularly appealing to lovers of fruity Sativa genetics.

  • Strain Hunters: Rare Seeds Collected Worldwide

The Strain Hunters Seed Bank began in 2013 in Amsterdam as part of the Green House Seed Company. The idea was to gather rare cannabis strains from across the world and make them available to growers. Over time, the focus has been on feminized seeds, autoflowering hybrids, and landraces that you usually do not see for sale. Many of these genetics came from trips through Africa, Jamaica, Latin America, and Vietnam.

The people behind it are Arjan, Simon, and the late Franco Loja, who filmed several documentaries while traveling to find these plants. Their goal has always been to secure strains before they disappear and to share them with growers worldwide. The project is tied closely to Green House Seeds, which itself has been around since 1995.
