Flavour & Aroma

Black Orchid develops a rich

terpene

profile dominated by myrcene, supported by pinene and caryophyllene. Together they produce an indulgent aroma of creamy blueberry pie, ripe forest berries, sweet citrus and subtle herbal spice, creating a

flavour

profile that is both luxurious and unmistakably modern.

For growers specifically looking for myrcene-rich cannabis strains, Black Orchid offers an exceptional balance of sweetness, fruit and earthy complexity inherited from its elite California lineage.

Effects

With exceptionally high

THC levels

, Black Orchid produces a powerful indica-dominant experience that begins with an uplifting wave of euphoria before gradually settling into a deeply calming body relaxation.

Despite its immense potency, the experience remains smooth and immersive, making Black Orchid a favourite among experienced growers seeking premium West Coast genetics with exceptional flower quality.

Grow Info

Black Orchid combines vigorous growth with excellent structural stability, producing dense, compact flowers heavily coated in shimmering trichomes. Deep purple hues contrast beautifully against bright orange pistils, giving the finished flowers exceptional bag appeal long before harvest.

Flowering completes in less than 10 weeks, producing indoor harvests of 650–750g/m², while outdoor plants are capable of yielding 700–1000g per plant under favourable conditions.

The combination of generous production, dense resin coverage and striking visual appearance makes Black Orchid an excellent choice for growers seeking high-yielding indica cannabis seeds, purple cannabis buds and premium California genetics.

If you prefer automatic flowering, discover our award-winning Black Orchid Auto, which inherits its genetics directly from this original photoperiod variety and achieved 3rd Place – Best Indica at the
