As part of our projects involving Cheese hybrids, the natural step was to combine these classic genes with modern, sweet strains. Mascarpone is the result of that approach – a strain that brings together the dominant traits of Cheese with subtle accents of sweetness. Although most phenotypes in this line are distinctly dominated by Cheese/Dutch genes, you can also find plants with a more candy profile.

These hybrids, created by crossing classic Cheese with modern Candy strains, form the foundation of our future breeding projects aimed at developing new generations of Cheese hybrids. Introducing traits typical of the Dutch strains into the Candy genes has created strains that are ideal for growers who value easy-to-grow plants with high yields.

Mascarpone is the ideal choice for those who miss the classic, old-school aroma but are looking for modern plants with superb growing properties. It is a return to the roots, but with a modern accent – the perfect balance between tradition and modernity, one that will satisfy even the most demanding connoisseurs.
