S.O.D.K Auto – A very exceptional polyhybrid that came out of our Mephisto projects, now at F7. SOD (Sour Orange Diesel) was a lovely East Coast Sour Diesel phenotype with a sativa edge to the structure, but a straightforward stinking skunky, high-quality orange aroma. This was combined with our Auto Triangle project at F1 and bred on as a separate strain for the following generations. The result is the aptly named Sour Orange Diesel Kush. A high-yielding, high-quality auto. SODK was extraordinarily popular and we are now working again with Lady Sativa, who passed us the seeds of her Cup-winning Orange Diesel V3 (thanks!). All in order to move on to SODK for our artisanal Orange Diesel strain, to get even more of that diesel-engine experience.

Behaviour and structure of the strain

Like our other sativa-dominant strains, she starts life looking quite indica and innocent, but once she has been through the seedling phase she stands out and explodes in growth and outwards. SODK usually grows with a waxy, dark green sheen to the leaves and strong branches. She produces a very thick main cola and many large secondary flower tops, very heavy with resin both on the leaves and on the flower clusters. She is incredibly more interesting both to grow and to smoke. Customers have seen over 7 ounces per plant in good conditions. She can shoot above 120 cm in height and will certainly appreciate a big pot and some training. A 5 gallon/19 litre pot will really let SODK stretch her legs and will result in a heavy plant. This is another good choice for outdoors.
