Northern Lights AutoA

Northern Lights is the plant indoor growing was built on. Every compact indoor variety since has been measured against it, and it has been quietly paying rent in rooms for forty years while flashier things came and went. Greenpoint updated a vintage cut with Short Stuff #1 and stabilized the line at F6.

The Cross

Greenpoint took a classic Northern Lights clone and updated it with Short Stuff #1, putting the autoflower trait into the Afghani resilience of the NL mother. The line is stable at F6 and feminized, which makes it about as low risk as a seed purchase gets.

The Parents

Northern Lights descends from Afghani and Hawaiian stock and it is the ancestor of a large share of the indoor catalog. It went through the Dutch scene, came back out, and never stopped being grown. Its reputation rests on a compact frame and resistance to almost everything.

Short Stuff #1 supplies the day neutral flowering trigger.

What’s In The Pack

Six feminized autoflower seeds. Consistency across the pack is the entire point of an F6.

In The Garden

91-98 days for the full cycle. The compact frame suits the quick method: one gallon pots, packed tight, high light intensity, minimal vegetative time. That approach maximizes density per square foot and is where this plant genuinely outperforms taller autos. A good first grow and a reliable one for anybody running fast turnarounds.
