Amnesia is an absolute classic of the early-90s Amsterdam scene, one of those strains that built the legend of the coffee shops. It became famous for a very good yield, an intense citrus aroma and a potent, long-lasting action, which is why to this day it remains a safe choice for beginners and experienced growers alike. The plant grows very vigorously, forms strong lateral branches and holds its heavy, resinous flowers without trouble. It is resistant to mould, fungi and pests, which makes it especially attractive for outdoor growing.

During flowering it takes the form of a classic Christmas tree with a dense internodal structure, which favours a large number of flowering sites. The tops are hard, dense and abundantly covered in glistening trichomes, which fill the space with an intense citrus scent. The flavour profile is distinct lemon joined with a creamy note recalling freshly pressed olive oil, rounded out with a delicate haze and nutty accent. The aroma is very characteristic and lingers long in the air and on the palate.

Amnesia’s action is fast and long-lasting: a combination of the relaxing, bodily Indica effect with the mood-lifting, energetic Sativa side. The effect is distinct but balanced, ideal for longer sessions without being overwhelming.
