The strain was created from a combination of Red Tropicana Cookies with the multiple award-winning Auto Night Queen – Antonio's favourite auto. Thanks to this breeding move it proved possible to join the vigour and expression of sativa genes with the speed, stability and compactness of a classic indica autoflower. The result is very productive, potent and versatile genetics with a high repeatability of traits.

In the vegetative phase the plants grow dynamically, forming solid branches and broad leaves with thick fingers. During the flowering period they quickly cover themselves in a thick layer of trichomes, and in around half the phenotypes attractive purple and crimson shades appear. The flowers are very tight, heavy and rich in resin, which ensures an excellent look for the end product.

Auto Red Tropicana Cookies stands out for its exceptionally elaborate terpene profile. Sweet, intense notes of tropical fruits dominate – pineapple, mango and citrus – complemented by a sour accent, an earthy kush base and a creamy-skunky background. The flavour is sweet-and-sour, citrusy, with a distinct fruity character. In some phenotypes a note of blueberry yoghurt appears as well, which gives the whole thing a unique character.

The life cycle from seed to harvest averages around 11 weeks. The THC content usually falls in the range of 15–20%, though in ideal growing conditions values reaching 20–24% are possible. This makes the strain one of the stronger propositions in the autoflower segment.
