Dub

Dub by Reggae Seeds is a cannabis strain created by crossing Critical × Kalijah. The Spanish breeder thus combines the well-known Critical genetics with Kalijah from its own breeding programme. The result is a fast-developing and comparatively straightforward strain that stands out particularly for its manageable care requirements and unusual spicy aromatic profile.

When grown, Dub develops a vigorous, uniform and manageable plant structure. The strain is considered comparatively undemanding and does not require particularly intensive nutrient supply. Thanks to its fast and homogeneous development, Dub is also well suited to Sea of Green setups (SOG), where several plants are cultivated within a limited area.

In addition to indoor cultivation, Dub can also be grown outdoors. Reggae Seeds attributes the strain with good resistance to mould and various common plant problems. How robust individual plants actually prove to be, however, depends on phenotype, humidity, rainfall, air circulation and the respective growing conditions. Especially outdoors, a suitable location and adequate ventilation therefore remain important.

Dub presents a particularly distinctive aromatic profile. Pronounced anise notes combine with fennel, spicy and earthy nuances, as well as an underlying character reminiscent of traditional Nepalese hashish. This creates a complex Old-School profile that clearly differs from sweet Candy, Cookies and dessert genetics. Dub thus combines Critical and Kalijah into a straightforward genetic with a characteristic anise-fennel aroma and spicy hash character.
