• Positronics Seeds: Keeping Old Favorites Alive

Positronics started out as the very first cannabis grow shop in Amsterdam. It was run by Wernard Bruining, who a lot of people call the Potfather of Cannabis. Back then, strains like Skunk #1, Purple Haze, Tropical Mango, and Northern Light were passed on to home growers through his shop. Over the years, many of these became classics. Purple Haze especially built a big following. People loved it for a long time, and it was not easy to find.

Quick Facts

Location: From Amsterdam, now in Malaga, Spain

Focus: Feminised seeds from well known old genetics

Types Available: Feminised and autoflowering

Well Known For: Purple Haze, Black Widow, Afghan Express

Works Well For: Anyone who wants stable, older strains in seed form

The original shop closed after running into financial trouble. A grow shop owner in Malaga, Sebastian, who was a big fan of the original strains, brought the brand back. Wernard agreed to share the genetics, and now those seeds are being bred again and sold under the Positronics name. They still offer classics like Purple Haze and Blue Rhino, along with newer options such as the Afghan Express, which flowers automatically and has a strong THC content.
