Durban Poison Auto is an autoflowering cannabis strain developed by Humboldt Seed Company, based on the legendary Durban Poison sativa. Breeding work on this strain began in 2021, when the company received an original Durban Poison clone and decided to create an autoflowering version of it. A Mint Jelly Auto phenotype known for its high THC content was used for the job, which made it possible to keep the characteristic traits of the original strain while shortening the growing time.

Durban Poison Auto stands out for its strong, energising effect, which favours activity and creativity. Thanks to its abundance of trichomes it is also an excellent choice for producing extracts and concentrates. Although the growing time is approx. 100 days, those extra weeks are repaid by the high quality and quantity of the harvest.

Durban Poison Auto is an ideal strain for growing outdoors and in greenhouses. Tests are still under way to show whether it is suited to indoor growing. The time from sowing the seeds to harvest is approx. 100 days, slightly longer than for an average autoflowering strain. The buds are light green and very frosty. This strain is recommended for making all kinds of extracts, with or without solvents.

Terpenes. shows mint fuel with sweet Christmas tree notes. The aromas take in mint, pine and gas. THC content reaches 28 – 32%, and total cannabinoid production comes to 30 – 35%. The effect is powerful and energetic.
